Ingredients: Raw mango, Mustard powder, Red chilli, Fenugreek, Groundnut oil, Salt
Mukkala aavakay is the first pickle of the mango season. The mango is cut into small pieces with no kernel, so it cures quickly and eats softer and milder than a full aavakay. We make it in smaller batches to be enjoyed fresh.
